MDA MissionTo serve, promote and protect the food, agricultural, environmental and economic interests of the people of the State of Michigan
Animal Industry Division • Oversees health and safety of livestock and other domestic animals in Michigan. • Monitors and controls interstate and intrastate movement of animals and animal products. • Eradicate and/or control the spread of diseases, particularly diseases that could affect humans.
