  1. AAHWAHAN AAHWAHAN FOUNDATION FOUNDATION It’s our calling!

  2. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving!

  3. WHY WHY AAHWAHAN? AAHWAHAN? Giving is not about making donation, It's about making a difference!

  4. OUR OUR STORY STORY Aahwahan Foundation is a non-profit organization with a big heart that is committed to bringing about a paradigm shift to the NGO space through our selfless and sustained service to restore the socially backward community’s dignity. At Aahwahan Foundation, we are increasingly committed to delivering real, sustainable solutions to the requirements of marginalized communities, transitioning from a traditional philanthropy model to one of the genuine partnerships in which we use the talents and resources acquired through collaboration to optimize our impact. One of the ways we use the skills is through good governance.

  5. The guiding force behind this transformation in thought process is an innovative strategy – 5S (5 Segments). EDUCATION HEALTH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WOMEN EMPOWERMENT ENVIRONMENT 5S STRATEGY

  6. Who are we? Who are we? About us Our Plan Aahwahan Foundation is none other than the people of India, when you have a thought to bring change for good; you belong to Aahwahan-the call from within. We are a representative that makes your wishes come true, your willingness to make change for society and your utmost desire to abide by your inner feelings is what we do in Aahwahan. Our diverse internal team with an educational background from prominent institutions such as IIM, IIT, and XLRI after several brainstorming sessions came up with this unique strategy. We strongly believe that poverty elimination and 5S are deeply interconnected. Significant investments in 5S would pave the way for the eradication of deep-rooted poverty.

  7. EDUCATION EDUCATION

  8. EDUCATION EDUCATION “Education is the best friend. An educated person is respected everywhere. Education always beats the beauty and the youth.” -CHANAKYA Children from backward communities often do not have access to quality education. We are collaborating with the school system to encourage children to actively participate in extracurricular activities. This includes providing them with a platform to realize their talents in whichever field it lies… Be it painting, drama, art, music, dancing or sports! We support them ! Our focus is on all-inclusive development and support the children to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.

Her motto has always been “I am always fighter and because of that, I don’t fear anybody. I know if I fight, I will win.”

  11. WOMEN WOMEN EMPOWERMENT EMPOWERMENT

  12. “Women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world.” Women in developing economies do not require any patronizing or technocratic support. They need freedom – freedom from suppression, ill-treatment, psychological trauma, economic deprivation. Gender inequality reduces as poverty declines, so women's status improves more than that of men with development. Women's social empowerment and economic empowerment are deeply connected, and women gain the most from prosperity. Aahwahan Foundation's vision is to ensure women and men equally lead, contribute to, and benefit from inclusive and sustainable economic development. Gender equality and the empowerment of women are at the core of our operations.

  13. PROJECT 2 PROJECT 2 PROJECT 3 PROJECT 3 PROJECT 1 PROJECT 1 PROJECT 4 PROJECT 4 Stitching Units and Agarbati making units Soft toy Sanitary napkin units Traditional occupation of the communities manufacturing units The main reason for the inequality between men and women in rural India is due to that that women are not able to earn as men do. OUR PROJECTS ! OUR PROJECTS !

  14. The empowerment & autonomy of women and the enhancement of their social, health, political, and economic conditions is an extremely vital end in itself. It is the framework for the achievement of sustainable development. The power equations that obstruct women’s realization of healthy and fulfilling lives function across different levels of society vary from very personal to the highly public. Accomplishing transformation needs policy and program initiatives that would enhance women’s access to secure livelihoods & economic resources, lessen their extreme responsibilities with regard to housework, eradicate legal obstacles to their participation in public life, and increase social awareness through effective programs of education and mass communication.

  15. HEALTHCARE HEALTHCARE

  16. “Health is a blessing” and Aahwahan foundation is striving tirelessly to protect this blessing. Aahwahan Foundation is deeply committed to providing leadership on issues critical to health, maintaining partnerships as appropriate, adhering to the norms and standards set by the government, supporting research work, promoting ethical and evidence-based treatment, delivering technical assistance, organizing funds, facilitating change, constructing viable institutional capacity, observing the health condition, and evaluating health trends. Our priority with regard to healthcare is moving towards complete health coverage for the rural population pan India. Hence, we have collaborated with policy-makers, international health partners, members of civil society, research institutions, and the private sector to support the regional government’s health plans.

  17. PROJECT 2 PROJECT 2 PROJECT 3 PROJECT 3 PROJECT 1 PROJECT 1 PROJECT 4 PROJECT 4 Health Centers: - At present, there are 3064 registered doctors working in the health centres programme. The cost for setting up a van is 25-40 lks Doctor at School: Teachers/Doctors educates and doing the regular checkups school children about basic health and hygiene. Health on Wheels: Mobile Medical Clinic for Marginal Communities OUR PROJECTS ! OUR PROJECTS !

  18. “Health on Wheels” - Mobile Medical Clinic It is our latest service for rural healthcare. Hospitals in rural India are overburdened, understaffed, and ill-equipped. The doctor-patient ratio in India is less than the WHO prescribed limit of 1:1000. Our mobile medical van can provide cost-effective treatment to people in rural areas. The mobile van comprises a driver, a nurse, and a doctor visiting one village per day and providing Outpatient Physical Therapy to patients in inaccessible rural areas. The schedule would be shared in advance with the villagers for better coordination. At present, the mobile medical van is used to fight against COVID-19. We visit various slums in urban settings and rural areas to conduct testing for diabetes & other illness; we refer any cases to the public health authorities.

  21. ENVIRONMENT ENVIRONMENT Our focus on Green indicates a scenario in which the conservation of natural resources improves livelihoods and ensures food security. Healthy ecosystems will increase the economic returns from the activities they support. We believe good corporate policies would enable companies to utilize resources judiciously, creating employment, and contributing to long-term development. A low-pollution, low-emission society ensures people lead healthy lives. We keep reminding companies on their low-emission, low-pollution commitments. Hence, we are encouraging low emission plans and funding for renewable energies, climate-smart cultivation, and low-carbon urban environments.
