Stocking Capabilities • In 2009 and most of 2010, Medsafe operated out of a 20,000 square foot warehouse. 100,000 square foot corporate headquarters and distribution hub.
Field Support • 2009 • 11 Salespersons • 24 locations on the Gulf Coast with coverage within driving distance • 2 locations on the West Coast, 8 on the East Coast, 2 in the Great Plains, and 7 in Texas & Oklahoma where coverage was available only under urgent circumstances • 2013 • 22 Salespersons • 30 Gulf Coast locations with coverage within driving distance • All locations except West Coast have quarterly coverage • 2 West Coast locations have bi-annual coverage Our sales force has DOUBLED in the last 4 years. This dramatically increases the level of service available to our customers, while decreasing the amount of time it takes to respond to their needs.
FR Market Overview • Due to increased competition in the market for FR Garment business, the dynamic is changing: • Increased traditional competition • Backwards integration by experienced distribution • Manufacturers trying to sell direct • 3 defined markets: • High end – Clients who prefer name brands and/or new technology • Mid Tier – Clients who prefer cotton based garments but require that the fabric be manufactured in the US then converted in another country • Value Lines – Clients who are highly cost conscious and understand that proven cotton based fabrics from other countries are in many ways comparable to domestic competitors.
