  2. Introduction Yahoo mail is one of the oldest webmail service made by Yahoo Inc. Making a new account on yahoo is a very small process. To make an account on yahoo, start by putting yahoo’s website into your internet browser. When site is open, Chose “New here? Sign Up” option on the top right corner of the webpage. After clicking, a new webpage will load an application form for yahoo mail. This form contains several sections. Let’s discuss.

Section -1 • The first section is titled “Tell us about yourself…” • This is where you will enter your name, or any name you choose. • Next, select your gender. • After this, there will be a drop down box named “-Select Month-“. Enter your month of birth. • Then put in the date and finally your year of your birth. “I live in” is where you will choose the country in which you are currently staying. • Lastly, you’ll need to enter your zip code.

  4. Section - 2 • The next section is the most important “Select an ID and Password”. • Select the box “Yahoo ID and Email” and enter in the e-mail address you prefer. • Be advised, you cannot change this later so choose wisely. • Now choose a password you prefer. Use at least 8 characters mixed of uppercase, lowercase and numbers to make sure your password is secured. • Also, make sure your password doesn’t match with your Yahoo ID. • Re-enter the password in the next field named “Re-type password”.

  5. Section - 3 • The third section, “In case you forget your ID or password” is provided in case you do not remember your account name or password. • Enter details according to respective boxes. • Use security questions wisely and keep their answers safe and confidential and make sure you are most likely to remember them correctly.

  6. Section - 4 • Last portion labeled “Just a couple more details” is where you will enter in a security code that tells the website that you are a real person. • If you need audio verification, click on “Need audio assistance?” option. • This will play an audio over your audio device which contains code that needs to be enter in the respective field. • Under the security code, you will see “Do you agree” box. Check this box and you are good to go.
