  1. TVBS Offerings Models are divided into 6 different product lines: TI850 • COMPETITOR PLUS • COMPETITOR SL, GT, -N • EQUALIZER • PD PLUS • VACUUM BOOSTERS

  2. Competitor+ • Short lead times, 1-2 weeks. Shares many similar design advantages with the PD Plus line • Models range from 2” to 7” gear size, rated up to 15 psig discharge pressure or 16” Hg vacuum.

  3. Technological Advantages vs. Competition • Helical timing gears are quieter and stronger than spur gears offered by competition • Shafts are integrally cast with rotors. No press fit and pinned rotors to break or work loose • Gears are pressed on and keyed to shafts to insure unit stays properly timed • Double row ball bearings on gear end of EVERY unit increase bearing life up to 50%

Design and Construction Advantages Impellers have straight-through cores to reduce risk of loss of balance due to liquid entrapment Helical timing gears for smoother operation, easier timing and greater service factors Drive shaft is supported by a cylindrical roller bearing for greater overhung load capacity Double row ball bearings on gear end of every model All shaft surfaces in contact with sealing members are polished to reduce seal wear and risk of leakage Rotors and shafts are cast integrally; this affords larger shaft diameters and reduces risk of impeller breakage Blower can be mounted either horizontally or vertically with same feet

Used for Air-Only Applications • Features Splash Oil Lubrication on BOTH ends • Lip seals on the rotor shaft • Low noise housing with tri-lobe rotors available at an additional cost. • Designed to be generally interchangeable with respect to foot print, shaft height, and diameter, with equivalent sizes of Roots universal RAI/RAI-J® and many Sutorbilt® California Series Legend Series L and P as well as M-D Pneumatics Competitor Plus™ blowers. • Competitor SL with tri-lobe rotors and low noise housing option (“N” suffix in price book) is essentially equivalent to the former Dominator product line and contractually excluded from the carpet cleaning industry.

  6. Rotary Positive Gas Blowers Splash lubrication on both gear and drive ends for better heat dissipation and longer mechanical seal life. Optional exclusive Tuthill noise reduction housing/rotor combination (shown here) is available.   8. Equalizer RM • Drop-in replacement for Roots RCS (RM). • Gear sizes from 4.5” to 6”. Pressures to 18 psig, vacuum to 16” Hg. • Includes standard premium features of M-D product line. • 2-3 week lead time.

  9. Equalizer DF • Gear sizes from 4.5”. Pressures to 18 psig, vacuum to 16” Hg. • Drop-in replacement for Duroflow. • 2-3 week lead time. • Includes standard premium features of M-D product line.

  10. BLOWER BASICS SELECTION GUIDELINES EQUALIZER • Replacement of RCS (RM) or Duroflow (DF) machines •  Air service •  Greater high-end pressure and horsepower than Competitor+ • Medium cost, reliability and price are selection criteria

Vacuum levels to 16” Hg vacuum. • Multiple options in material of construction, seals, etc. • 2-3 week lead time
