Critical Birth Weights in Nevada • LBW= Low Birth Weight • Less than 2500 grams (5 lbs. 8 oz.) • VLBW = Very Low Birth Weight • Less than 1500 grams (3 lbs. 4 oz.)
Prenatal Care • Early = Entry into prenatal care in the first trimester (less than 13 weeks) • Adequate = At least 13 visits throughout the pregnancy
