ISSUE BASED SKILLS WORKSHOPS Date : 31 July, 28 August & 18 September Time : 8:30am - 4.00pm Venue: Room 300F Disted College Jalan Macalister Pulau Pinang Organized by Penang Association of Counselling & Psychology (PACP) & Penang Counselling Group (PCG) Facilitator: Dr Louis Downs Ph.D., Counselor Education Dr Louis Downs is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counselor Education, California State University Sacramento, with wide experience in facilitating workshops as a clinical consultant, counsellor trainer and supervisor in school, community, marriage, family and child, and agency counseling, Upcoming workshops 31 July 2010 : Dealing with Oppositional Adolescents 28 Aug 2010 : Dealing with School Anxiety Phobia 18 Sept. 2010 : Dealing with ADHD Children The workshops are for parents, teachers, counsellors, social workers and those dealing with adolescents. The workshops will look at issues and strategies and will incorporate theory and practice. Cost per workshop : RM150/= for members of PACP & Penang Counselling Group or if attending more than 1 workshop RM200/= for others.
