  3. Definition of a Tagline • One short phrase (usually no more than 8 words) • Describes the purpose, product, service or philosophy of your company • The tone of a tagline sets the voice for your business

  4. Definition of a Tagline • Taglines should appeal directly to the type of client/customer you are trying to attract • A Tagline is your slogan • A phrase that’s meant to be repeated over and over throughout advertising, websites, business cards, billboards, on company vehicles
