This morning report presents a case of a 50-year-old male with a history of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes with neuropathy, and asthma, who presents with swelling, redness, tenderness, and erythema in his right 3rd toe. The patient had accidentally pierced his foot with a nail, which was subsequently removed. After a few days, he started experiencing pain in his toes, which improved after soaking in an epsom salt bath.
