Evaluation Objectives • Through evaluation, project implementers can focus more on long term lessons: • What sort of interventions are most effective? • What impact is the project having - postitive or negative? • How is the project affecting various groups? • What lessons can be learnt? • How should future policy and practice be changed? • In summary, the aim is to determine the relevance and fulfilment of objectives, developmental efficiency, effectiveness (Intended & actual), impact and sustainability.

Methodology used • All stakeholders were informed 2 weeks before • Prepare needed doc viz 2012-2013 work plan and annual report • Schedule of field visit sent to all partners • According to the schedule, evaluation team meets with partners intervening in a given sector, with local authorities • Sector authorities have time to brief on partnership

  4. Cont… • Partners present their achievements in such sector • Evaluation team ask questions pertaining with what was planned and what was done • Entire team decides on what to be visited on field
