  2. Define the Problem • I would like my car to be the fastest!

  3. This is my design :D

  4. Brainstorm • I actually wanted flames on my car but it ended up looking like a bird. So now my car is a bird. 

  5. Research These are some of the websites I used • http://auto.howstuffworks.com/auto-racing/motorsports/co2-powered-dragster2.htm http://www4.smsd.org/matthewjenkinson/html29548.htm http://www.sciencebuddies.org/engineering-design-process/engineering-design-process-steps.shtml

  6. Ideas? • Flame car • Colored pencil • Bird

  7. Best idea! • I chose the bird car because I thought it would be the lightest out of the three and I also thought it would be a different thing to choose.

  8. Prototype • My prototype turned out good but I didn’t take a picture. • I painted my car orange and red like a cardinal.

  9. Testing my car • My car ended up going 40.5 miles per hour and winning 1st place!

  10. This is the end of my presentation!
