  4. Conclusions What are we good at… • high quality of teaching, good, motivated and committed academic staff • multicultural environment, highly motivated students • the importance and value of the programs’ subjects • selection method - interviews • flexibility

Conclusions Problems… • Language issue • lack of minor subjects, optional courses, materials • lack of sufficient and relevant information/services in English • teachers’ English skills e.g.”(…) because promise from the homepage ”It is possible to make through the programme in English doesn’t match reality” • Guidance and assistance • information before and after arrival • ”all that will make life easy for students” e.g. “I was really surprised after I came to Finland and learnt about bridge studies. I just feel like I should quit this program and go back to my country to work instead.”
