  3. I tried using literature to inspire the beginning of our adventures in the woods! It worked!

  5. September 20, 2013 Day 2 in the woods!

  6. On our third day into the woods, the students started to get more sophisticated with their fairy house building, incorporating more treasures and working as teams.

  7. The students also started using classroom tools to investigate what was in this new environment, and make connections with things learned in class! Centipedes and Pill bugs!

  8. Projects we would like to explore, using natural and recycled materials… Decorative garden stones Stepping stone path

  9. Tire Gardening

  10. Recycled pallet garden Fence from recycled pallets

  11. Wildlife feeders

  12. Plant bulbs in the Fall

  13. And that is just the beginning!
