What is Ask An Expert? • Replaces Answerlink • A way for the public to ask questions on-line to Extension specialists across the country • Questions filtered to Extension specialists via: • Your area of expertise • Your location (state, county) • Your workload (the Ask-bot) • Emails will: • Notify you of a question assigned to you • Notify end-user that question has been received and answered
Two parts • Button (in left navbar in the CSU Extension template) steers them to the eXtension Ask an Expert site • http://www.extension.org/ask • You go into the Ask an Expert site to: • Set preferences, filters, signature • Answer questions • http://faq.extension.org/
