Reading rubrics • Good pronunciation • Fluent expressive reading • Tone, pace and volume • Stress and intonation to convey meaning
Picture Conversation rubrics • Articulate ideas fluently • Elaborate on ideas • Make interpretations
(P3) Show & Tell Assessment Pre-assessment • A topic will be given so that child can prepare in advance Assessment • Duration expected: at least 1 min • Prompts from examiner
(P4) One-Minute Talk • A topic will be given to pupil on the spot Assessment • Duration expected: at least 1 min • Prompts given by examiner
Criteria • Delivers interesting content & gives logical opinions • Uses a wide range of appropriate vocabulary and accurate structures • Displays confidence in her presentation • Speaks in at least 6 or more complete sentences
