Hometown family • Julie was married to Les Moonves, the president of CBS, the couple married in 2004. • Together they have 3 kids together, Charlie, Adam, and Michael. • Chen was born and raised in Queens, New York. She now currently resides in New York.
Education: • She graduated from high school in 1987 from St. Francis Prep after having missed the cutoff scores for specialized high school entrance exams for other schools like the Bronx High School of Science, the school her older sisters • Attended. She attended the USC and graduated in 1991 with a major in Broadcast Journalism and in English.
Journalist classification • Julie would classify as a Broadcasting Journalist. She majored in Broadcast journalism at USC. • Chen has appeared on multiple TV shows on CBS, such as “Big Brother” and “The Early Show”.
Accomplishments • Julie is famous for being a co-host and the moderator of the CBS daytime series, The Talk. • Julie attended the 53rd annual, Grammy Awards, with her husband but she was not nominated for anything.
Donations • Chen has made numerous small donations but nothing big. One of the donations was to the company “Red Cross” • She has hosted many donation ads on her show “Big Brother”, such as donate 1 dollar to the Haiti Earthquake.
Organzizations • Julie Chen started the hit CBS show “Big Brother”. Big Brother is a reality TV show that is now in its 14th season. Outside of Big Brother on CBS, Chen is a host’s on “The Talk” and “The Early Show”. Her husband practically owns CBS, a huge reason why she works for it.

Things I can learn • I could learn how to become a great TV host. Julie has the great broadcasting skills, I just need to sit down and learn them. • She has the voice, the poise, and the experience to be a great host/broadcaster. I do not have that, yet, but maybe I will later down the road.
