Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MFA) is responsible for coordination of the ODA Total volume of the ODA in 2005 (bilateral and multilateral): EUR 100 mil. ODA/GNI: 0,11 % (Govt. target: 0,142 % in 2010) Different line ministries are responsible for development projects in their specific areas of interest (environmnent, health, education, social services, industrial development etc.) Development Centre of the Institute of International Relations is the main expert body of the MFA Development Centre Czech Development Co-operation

Development Centre Role of NGOs State support for Development NGOs: • Support system for Development NGOs was launched on October 1st 2003 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and is administered by the Development Centre with initial budget of CZK 2 million (EUR 70 000) • Based on a Grant Scheme • Supported areas: Capacity building, Public Information Campaigns, Development Education, Partnership
