Backbone/Distribution Tower Example • This location utilizes a 140’ two- piece concrete monopole. • Provides backbone connectivity between two other sites via (2) 3-foot dishes. • Provides 360° of coverage for both 4.9GHz and Mobile Data Network.
Backbone/Distribution Backup Power • Each Distribution and Backbone site is equipped with a solar backup system
Client and Endpoint Sites • Endpoint or client sites are locations connected to the distribution system and typically provide access for users or hardware devices such as cameras, servers, or management systems. • Buildings, Intersections, Pump Stations and Vehicles are all examples of Client or Endpoint sites.

Two Types of Intersection (Endpoint) Sites • VL 4.9 GHz SU w/ integrated antenna • Indoor Unit is simply a power brick with (2) ethernet ports – located inside the traffic box. • Primary configuration under feasible conditions • BA 900 MHz Yagi Antenna • Indoor Unit is a 900 MHz SU-M and is located inside the traffic box • Secondary configuration when conditions do not allow for 4.9 GHz
