  4. Prefixes • Most common – Kilo, Centi and Milli • One Kilo is 1000 base units • 100 Centis are one base unit • 1000 Millis are one base unit -SO- 1 kilogram = 1000 grams 200 centimeters = 2 meters 5000 millimeters = 5 meters

  5. Hopping Decimal Point      Move the Decimal Point to the Left if going to a Higher Unit Kilo Hecto Deka Base Unit Deci Centi Milli Move the Decimal Point to the right if going to a Lower Unit     
