Distance Learning CAP • Increase the College’s online teaching presence so that 25% of courses offered exist in an online or hybrid modality. This growth should take place over the next 3-5 years and include a comprehensive assessment of current resources, teaching practices, capacity, training needs, and other infrastructural components necessary to fully support accomplishment of the CAP.

ITC – 2009 Distance Education Survey Results • The number 1 challenge since 2004 is “support staff needed for training and technical assistance” • “We need one central faculty development center for supporting faculty in effective instructional design, use of Blackboard and other educational technologies, assessment of the quality of their online courses, help with improving online course quality and help with rapidly changing technologies. We also need more staff in the system distance education area.”

The flag cleared on Sep 19… I honestly didn't notice his pattern of logging in one day a week. I appreciate that the system prompted him without me having to set-up an elaborate rule.
