Where have you been all my life? Dance/Movement Therapy Laura Remillard- University of Tampa
Research Question:Through this project, not only do I hope to learn about a possible future career, but also why it took me seventeen years to finally hear about it. I hope to discover why dance/movement therapy is so unknown in the dance world and what is being done to increase awareness about it. Hypothesis: I believe that if dance teachers, as well as teachers in the school system, taught or introduced dance/movement therapy as much as they do other types of physical therapy, dancers and students would be more aware of what dance/movement therapy is, who can benefit from it, and what must be done to become a dance/movement therapist.
