The Multiple Intelligences are crucial part in being a 21st century learner. It is important because their strengths and weaknesses help them to learn. The Multiple Intelligences are naturalistic, linguistic, musical, logical-mathematical, intrapersonal, interpersonal and body kinesthetic.
Being interpersonal means that you are aware of other people’s feelings and actions. You are also good at making friends and being social with others. As well as caring for others when they’re feeling sad and understanding how they feel. You will enjoy working in groups.
Being intrapersonal means that you know what your strengths and weaknesses are and you understand all your feelings. You also know how you learn and enjoy learning independently.
When you are naturalistic you have a love of nature and animals. You know names of plants and animals and will often keep a pet at home. You will enjoy learning about nature and being outside.
Linguistic means that you are good at speaking and communicating with others. You can also be good with your vocabulary. Some examples of people with this intelligence are: Authors and actors. Andy Griffiths, William Shakespeare and Emma Stone
Musical intelligence is knowing instruments, sounds, beats and rhythm. There are a lot of famous singers and people in bands who show musical intelligence in their work. Musical is also about loving music.
Logical-mathematic means that you are good at maths and working with large numbers. It can also mean that you are fast at working out equations.
Body Kinesthetic is when you know how your body works and are a physical person. People who have a strength in body kinesthetic are keen at exercising and have an interest in sporting activities. These people will learn best by doing things.
