    3. Giardia intestinalis=Lamblia intestinalis giardiose=lambliose

DEFINITION -parasitose de l’intestin grêle due à un protozoaire flagellé: Giardia intestinalis (Lamblia intestinalis) -constitue une étiologie fréquente des diarrhées chroniques. -affection cosmopolite. -souvent bien tolérée, voire asymptomatique. -parfois peut engendrer des troubles digestifs sévères chez l’enfant. -se voit à tous les âges (mais surtout chez l’enfant)

    5. EPIDEMIOLOGIE Le parasite se présente sous deux formes: -forme végétative (trophozoite)
