  4. Independent Rating • The Verdict • : 8.45/10 • AVG Anti-Virus maintains its valuable brand by continuous improvements in product performance.

  5. Disadvantages • Rootkit scan is separate from whole computer scan. Phishing and exploit protection less effective than antivirus.

  6. Summary & Recommendations • AVG Antivirus is one of the most known antivirus software on the market and it is therefore not surprising it has many users who are happy with it. • Recommendations would be to buy the paid version for better support and more features.
