Who can use the service? • Faculty in the classroom • Staff involved in providing training to departments and individuals • Student groups with training needs
Are there any user requirements? • Users must have the following: • An active Penn State Access Account (not FPS Accounts) • PC with a browser Internet connection • An ANGEL group to log into
Where can it be done? • In our lab • In a departmental lab • In an ITS technology classroom • Virtually using ANGEL • Virtually using WBT’s Training Plan
When can it be done? • At any time of the year based on resource availability. • At your convenience for Web-based only • As time, personnel and lab availability dictates for hands-on instruction
Why is this service available? • Undergrads were identified as under served population. • Faculty asked. • Students want just in time training that is relevant to their coursework.
How is it done? • Consulting session on available resources and point of contact for learners (ANGEL, WBT, own Website, etc.) • Determine the training needs of the learners (specific skills and knowledge) • Coordinate and/or teach customer to use the tools needed to access the resources
