School & Program Selections • Choose a school and a program – research!! • Choose 3 programs for $150.00 • $50 for each additional program and Change!! • There is no fee for modifying a program choice within the same university. • Remember “Alternate offers of Admission” – don’t waste choices! • Choose at least one you are sure to get into! (safe choice)
Completing Applications • We have NO access to your application • PIN # needed - will need to pick up from Ms. McGee - with Exit Survey complete • Deadline: January 16, 2019 • Video Tutorial available online at ouac.on.ca click UNDERGRAD (101), then “How-To” videos • Applying can be ongoing process - start early • Submit and Pay steps very important
Completing Applications • Valid e-mail address important • Record and print application # • Keep a file *** very important • Confirmation of application • e-mail will be received as confirmation of application • You can make changes to your application – when you log out, information is saved
Mark Your Calendars • January 16, 2019 • Deadline for Ontario secondary school students to apply. • February 5, 2019 • Last date for students to submit changes to application. • March 1, 2019 • Universities receive, from the OUAC, all final first-semester grades. • May 7, 2019 • Universities receive, from the OUAC, second-semester midterm grades.
Mark Your Calendars • May 29, 2019 • The latest date by which all secondary school applicants shall expect a response from an Ontario university. Response will be an offer of admission or a refusal. • June 3, 2019 • Earliest date Ontario universities require a response to an offer of admission and a financial commitment. • July 11, 2019 • OUAC to transmits all remaining final grades to the universities

Select Your Programs Search Options OR Enter an OUAC code to use the FastTrack option.
Order Your Choices The choice order does not affect scholarship or admission consideration unless a university’s literature specifically states that it does.
Fees The cost is $150 for the first 3 university/program choices AND $50 for each additional choice
Answer Questions • Complete the Additional University Details and questions in Other Information
You can pay by the following methods: VISA/MasterCard/American Express:You will need the card number, expiry date and CVV/CVC/CID number. Online Banking:You will receive a bill payment account numberfrom the OUAC when you submit your application. Paying for Your Application
Finishing • On the “Complete” page, print the screen displaying your OUAC Reference Number (2019-XXXXXX) and further instructions. You will also receive an email. • Store your OUAC Reference Number, as you will need to include this number when communicating with the OUAC and the universities. OUAC Reference Number: 2019-1234567
Grades • Schools see ALL your grades from grade 11 on • Transmission dates – check accuracy • Early February – based on JANUARY UPDATE • Late April – based on March Report Card • Early July – based on June Report Card • (Diploma granted? 40 hours? EQAO?) • Error? Pick up the correction form in the guidance office
Other Important Information • Additional admission criteria • Check requirements & deadlines (e.g. portfolio, audition, Personal Information Form) • Language Proficiency Requirements – find on electronicinfo.ca (usually minimum of 3 years in English Medium Institution otherwise TOEFL or other proficiency test is required)
More Important Information • Taking night school, etc.? • Inform guidance counsellor, in writing, if not in PEEL (ie Catholic) • Taking summer school/private? • You arrange for grades to be sent • Has a death/serious illness/serious problem affected your grades? • It may be taken into consideration

Admission Decisions • Earliest offers February - April • Universities MUST decide by May 29, 2019 (80% of offers get sent in May) • Student response required by June 3 ALL OFFERS ARE CONDITIONAL!!!!
