  3. Neither…nor • Use the pairing of neither and nor to form a negative relationship. • Examples: • These shoes are neither comfortable nor cute. • I could neither laugh nor cry.

  5. Your turn! • In your writer’s notebook, write at least 2 sentences that use each of the pairings of: • Either and or (1 has to include either, 1 you can leave either out) • Neither and nor • (For you math scholars, that’s at least 4 total sentences)

  6. Your “Mastery” task • We will be writing a letter today. Use at least one either/or or neither/nor in your letter (your choice of which it will be).
