COLLABORATE, COORDINATE & CO-MANAGE FUNDERS: CDBG USDA – RURAL DEVELOPMENT MD DEPT OF THE ENVIRONMENT ►Funders meet regularly to collaborate on the funding of projects ►Funders meet jointly with counties and towns to help them determine the best funding scenarios ►Funders meet with grantees to coordinate on compliance requirements and expenditures

  3. EXAMPLE: Town of Snow Hill Wastewater Treatment PlantUpgrade Beneficiaries: 2,054 Total Cost: $13.9 Million CDBG - $600,000 grant MDE - $2.1 m loan USDA - $1.3 m grant MDE - $8.8 m grant USDA - $1 m loan

  4. EXAMPLE: Mt. Savage Water Extension & Sewer Rehabilitation Beneficiaries: 1,350 Total Cost: $11 Million CDBG - $1.4 m grant USDA - $4.3 m loan MDE - $500,000 grant USDA - $4.8 m grant
