Mood • Describe the mood expressed in the following paragraphs. • 1) Jane opened the door. As she walked downstairs, she noticed that a few things were missing. As she continued downstairs, she heard noises coming from around the corner. She felt her spine tingle. All of a sudden, a voice shouted, "She's home!"
2) Joseph walked into the room on Christmas morning and saw that the room was filled with presents. They were wrapped with bright wrapping paper and placed carefully under the Christmas tree which was radiating with tinsel. His face was reflected in the many shiny ornaments on the tree. His mom was in the kitchen preparing his favorite cinnamon rolls. His dad came in and said, "Go ahead. Open one."
