Our findings • People tend to agree that bats are an important part of our ecosystem. • 75% of our participants have heard of White-Nose Syndrome. • Even though people thought of bats as important to our ecosystem, they didn’t necessarily enjoy seeing them around Conclusion: • People think that bats are important and that we should monitor their populations to make sure we don’t lose them. Recommendations: • It is important to continually educate people about declining bat populations, as they are an important part of our ecosystem.
