  2. Lionel Messi Lionel Andres Messi was born in Rosario, Argentina on 24 June 1987. He started playing when he was five years old for a local football club coached by his father. At the age of 11, he started playing for Newell’s youth team. He joined FC Barcelona team when he was 13 years old. He was lucky that Barcelona offered him a treatment for his growth hormone deficiency.He’s been playing for Barcelona for eleven years. He is the best player in the world. Lionel Messi became the teen superstar of Argentina in his first game with the national team of Argentina.

  3. How did Lionel Messi become a soccer player? When Lionel Messi was young he used to play soccer all the time. He used to play with his neighbors and his friends in the streets. There wasn’t a lot of places to play in. His role model was Maradona, who taught him how to play football.

  4. Where does Lionel Messi play? Messi is the captain for the Argentina team and he plays for FC Barcelona. His positions are middle fielder , forward, but he is mainly a striker.

  7. What does Messi do on the field that makes him good ? Super Creative , Speedy , Skillful , Versatile and has perfect techniques, that what makes him the best player alive. Messi is always in the right place at the right time. He is always finding a good spots that helps him start building up for a great score.   8. What does Messi do on the field that makes him good ? He can play in the middle, as a center forward and on either wing. He is left-footed but he is unique because he is able to use both feet.   9. I enjoy watching Messi because he is very talented in soccer, and as fast as a rocket. I also like that he is not selfish in scoring goals. His main interest is for his team to win.
