Comprehension Strategy: Visualize When you visualize a story , you pay close attention to any descriptive words and what the author says to create pictures in your mind of the characters, setting, and actions. Comprehension Skill: Point of View Point of view is the way the story is told Vocabulary Strategy: Synonyms and Antonyms Synonyms are words with the same or similar meaning. Antonyms are words with opposite meanings. Genre : Tall Tale Has larger than life characters, including a hero Involves humuorus exaggerations Describes events that couldn’t happen in real life
