  3. About Mrs. Hall • I have two children, David and Kaleigh, a giant Golden doodle named Chewie. • Both kids went to Sunny Hills for K-5. • Our family loves to travel together.

  4. Professionally… • BA in History from Whitman College • Teaching Credentials from SPU • This is my 9th year of full time teaching: 3 at Clark in Issaquah, 2 in the Boston area, 4th year at Sunny Hills in 4th grade • 4 years of substitute teaching here at Sunny Hills

  5. Parent Support • Room Coordinator • Party Planner(s) – there are 3 parties/year • Classroom Helpers • Art Helpers • Library Helpers • Field Trip Chaperones You must fill out the volunteer paperwork online through the district. It can take up to two weeks to process.

  6. Homework at 4th Grade • 20-30 minutes of reading each night • Occasional classwork sent home to complete • School policy: Homework/classwork will not be given in advance when families go on vacation.

  17. Other Tidbits • Snack/Water Bottles: Both are allowed! Try to avoid nuts, please. • Science Eco columns! Help, please!  • Birthdays: Students receive special birthday privileges and are recognized during the day. No birthday treats, please. • Classroom Interruption Policy: Please work with the office to deliver forgotten items or messages to your student.

Pay on Line • Please check your child’s Pay on Line Account. • The Pay-on-Line site is not the same thing as Family Access –https://www.issaquah.wednet.edu/sunnyhills • Fees such as Scholastic News, planners, field trips, jogging club or choir will trigger a fee on their child’s Pay-on-line account.
