  1. NACST/Seq Engine:NSGA-II vs. e-MOEA 2004. 08. 24. In-Hee Lee

  2. NSGA-II with controlled eilitism Combined populationt Parentt Offspringt Non dominated sorting Repeat until termination Offspringt+1 Parentt+1 Size of fronts follows geometric distribution • Genetic operation: • constrained tournament selection • crossover, mutation

  3. e-MOEA Population Archive Tournament Genetic Operation Domination ε-domination Offspring

  4. e-MOEA with Finite Archive Size • If archive size reaches maximum size, • If the new offspring is in the same front as the archive members • Replace the nearest archive member with new offspring.

  5. Comparison on Artificial Function • DTLZ2 and its modified version

  6. Performance Measure • Convergence • Diversity

  7. Comparison Results NSGA-II performed better only in low dimensional case. e-MOEA showed good scalability even with finite archive size.

  8. Comparison Results NSGA-II showed worst performance in every case.
