Project description The team has planned to build an Unmanned Land Vehicle called Recon Robot. The main five functionalities of the robot are • Ability to move accurately between two specified coordinates using GPS • Ability to control the speed and direction of the robot from the base in manual mode • Ability to detect obstacles and avoid them • Ability for the robot to transmit to and receive data (GPS coordinates) from the base and vice-versa, transmit videos to the base • Ability for the base to remotely control and maneuver the onboard camera
PSSCs • Ability to ‘Rove’ between specified GPS coordinates. • Ability to manually control the speed and direction of the robot. • Ability for the robot to detect obstacles in its path and maneuver around them. • Ability to transmit current location of robot back to the Base. • Ability of the base to transmit and receive data to remotely control the onboard camera.
