Developing our People
45. This is the first in a series of discussions with the Board about key policy and planning issues facing California and the University.
This effort was encouraged by Regents Preuss, Hopkinson, Davies and Kozberg, who were concerned about maintaining the excellence of the University during this decade of exceptional enrollment growth.
Provost King, Senior Vice President Mullinix, and Vice President Hershman have joined me in this effort. We have been ably assisted by Jerry Kissler, Sandy Smith and other colleagues. This is the first in a series of discussions with the Board about key policy and planning issues facing California and the University.
