2. MUSIC MAGAZINE • I have created three ideas including features, genre and a possible title. Your opinions will aid me in choosing the best idea.

3. Crash & Ride The target audience for Crash & Ride magazine will be from age 14-28. This is because of its modern fusion of raw alternative music and technology. Guitar and drum solos are normally related to being a manly and aggressive. This is the reason for the main gender being male.  For this magazine the main feature will be Exclusive information on how the featured artist begun creating this music. I will also include collaboration stories as a part of the exclusive feature.  Advertisement in this magazine will be mainly of lead guitars and amplifiers. This is because the original genre of the magazine is alternative music. This magazine will have a genre of Alternative music and will be an exclusive edition with an RnB artist. This idea was inspired through music produced by Timberland featuring many rock/ Alternative artists and bands such as The Hives, Chris Cornell, Chad Sebastian - Nikelback and Jonas Brothers  in his RnB tracks.  I have chosen to use this genre of music because it is different and modern and very appealing.  Idea 1

4. Power Amp is a temporary title for my second idea for a music magazine. The genre of the music is Ska. This music is the fusion of Reggae and Rock. My inspiration for this magazine came from one of my favorite bands Reel Big Fish. The reason for using ska music is due to its different style in the music industry. Rebellion and Freedom expressed in music must be published in music.  The target audience for this magazine will be from age 16 - 28.  The magazine will capture both male and female attention but will also be mainly targeted for males due to it heavily based on rebellion. Features for this magazine will include many images of bands.I would like this magazine to be more graphic. The target audience will prefer less text and more images. This will allow me to put factual information only in the magazine. Idea 2 • Power Amp

5. Euphonium is a jazz fusion magazine which has no fixed genre. This is because its instruments vary around the world. Allowing many different genres to be played. My inspiration for this is by listening to music created by my music tutor. Aronas is a band which have created a new genre using electronic and tribal rhythms from the South Pacific, rock and classical piano, jazz, punk and Caribbean percussion. With this new genre an opportunity has been created to make a new magazine which reaches out to this new target audience. The Target audience for Euphonium will be aged 20+. This is because the genre of music doesn’t contain any lyrical value and appeals to those who enjoy music that isn’t vastly popular due to different its wide cultural bases or people studying music. Features will include competitions to win tickets to see live bands, Exclusive stories on one of the band members. Recording for a new movies. Idea 3 • Sweet Jazz Magazine

6. Sweet Jazz Magazine Peer Assessment • I manage to gain opinions of my choices from my class. Majority of which chose the jazz magazine. • Their reasons for this were because: • It will show creativity and a lot more diversity in UK magazines. • The images will be able to relate directly to the readers and the stories within this genre can be very captivating. • The readership will improve as not many people are aware of this genre of music.
