A Few Details • Standards are very detailed • Substitutable vs. Non-substitutable Standards • Standard is broken into parts and each part is given a value • Cut-off score for each standard • Example: 4 out of 6 points is “passing”
Certification Process • If you are certified: • Receive the ASTD eLearning Courseware Certification logo & Instructions • Certified course is placed in ASTD Certification Institute searchable database • If you are not certified: • Reconsideration • Corrective action (you fix what’s wrong) • Appeals Process • Guess what?!?!?!?
