  1. Tips For Maintaining A Fitness Schedule During School Holidays The much awaited holidays are spent on myriad things and perhaps exercise is the only thing that is given a lesser priority. While it is your kid’s holiday, it is time for you too to relax a bit after completing all your daily chores. However the importance of yoga, exercise or gym can never be overlooked in today’s world of stress and tension. Kids also remain bogged down with so much of work and assignment all the year round that a daily dose of exercise turns out to be a must for them. Good habits on the part of the parents do beget good habits for the children. A neat and a well-planned fitness schedule needs to be maintained to help your kid attain a holistic development. Make sure that the fitness plan incorporates you too. The following tips for maintaining a fitness schedule for your kid during the school holidays can be helpful. Planning is important: Making a to do list can be helpful. Thus take a pen and paper and make a priority list and make sure that a daily dose of exercise makes a room for itself in the list. A routine is often motivating. However, don’t make the routine too very rigid. Keep it smart, attainable and flexible. Try to keep the exercise sessions, be it gym, yoga, free hand or a dose of daily walk in the first part of the day to kick start with it afresh. Sow the seeds of good habits in your kid to assure them of sound health and cheerful spirits for all the days to come. Analyze and be intelligent: Learn from your own plans. If your routine proves to have certain loopholes, analyze intelligently to modify it. Long sessions of workouts may turn out to be extremely boring for your young one. Thus make it short, simple and fun loving. While making the priority list plan out for certain activities that your kid would love doing while gaining its benefits. Make sure that the tasks are bit unusual and doesn’t mar the merry spirits that the kids enjoy. Your kid will learn the ways and means of socializing with others and will develop skills to articulate. Enliven the child’s sportive spirits: Sports is extremely important for the holistic growth and development of a child. Sports make a child fit for the world, inculcate within it a sense of duty and discipline, unleashes its leadership qualities and teaches it decision making rules and problem solving methods. Sports can help your kid tackle all stress in a cool mind. Thus make sure that holidays are never wasted. Encourage your child to get involved in any kind of sport as per its choice during the holidays.
