The Presence in The Port Sector The Adani Group owns and operates the Abbot Port Terminal. This terminal has been exporting Queensland coal for over 35 years now. It is also the most northerly coal port in Australia and is located 20 km northwest of Bowen. This port is a modernised, high-volume port which has a fast turnaround time. The port comes with a natural deep-sea draft. It also has a multi-user port facility that currently has a throughput of up to 50 MTPA. This has extended Adani’s presence in the international port sector. It will also allow the group to get one step ahead towards becoming one of the biggest port operators in the world.
