  1. ADANI POWER REVISES ITS TARGET POWER CAPACITY

  2. Adani Power revised its power capacity twice since May. Now, it aims to increase its capacity to more than 30GW by 2030. It also plans to take up more significant projects like the Adani Bangladesh project.

  3. Currently, Adani Power is the largest private thermal power producer in India. It is on its path to double its operational capacity by 2030. As per the latest target of 30.67 GW, 25.87 GW will include operational and greenfield capacities. This would involve multiple potential acquisitions to be made in the power sector.

  4. Adani Power started its business with the Indian power sector. However, it started to conduct its business on a global scale. It also operates the Adani Bangladesh project. This is the first transnational project to be undertaken by the Adani Group in India. With this project, the Adani Group has also attended to the power needs of the neighbouring countries.

  5. In this way, the Adani Group has been able to create a notable presence in the power sector. In the upcoming years, we will continue to witness the Adani Group take up more remarkable projects that will lead it to the peak of success.
