Adani’s Recent Collaboration With Voltamp Transformer: • Recently, Voltamp Transformer received a purchase order worth INR 41 crore from Adani Power and its subsidiary Mahan Energen. This order is for supplying various ratings of distribution transformers. The scope of the contract involves designing, manufacturing, testing, and supplying different ratings of distribution transformers as per the various terms and conditions of the purchase order. It has also been mentioned that the contract will have to be executed within 12 months. Voltamp Transformer manufactures different types of transformers. This includes oil-filled power and distribution transformers.
Other Recent Ventures Taken Up By The Adani Group In The Power Sector: • As you know, the Adani Group happens to be one of the biggest players in the country’s power sector. The business group has been working on various power projects across the nation for quite a while now. It has been a part of a lot of mergers and acquisitions which have further given the conglomerate’s power business an excellent boost. It has also been a part of a lot of international projects including the Adani Bangladesh project. Adani Power Jharkhand Limited has been supplying power from its Jharkhand power plant for a considerable amount of time now. This helped Bangladesh meet its power demands.

This includes the overhauling, erection, testing, commissioning, and manpower assistance for performance guidance test of the steam generator among others for the units 3 and 4 of the 1,320 MW Korba Phase 2 thermal power plant in Chhattisgarh. This has caused the company’s shares to rise significantly. It was also able to further strengthen its position in the power sector.
