  1. Oman Optimistic About Adani Group’s Investment in Duqm Port

  2. Oman is looking forward to the Adani Group making substantial investments in the Duqm port. Although a memorandum of understanding has already been signed, concrete plans for the investments have still not been made. However, there have been some discussions between Adani and Omani representatives at the “Invest In Oman” event, during which visits were made to Adani’s Indian office and the Duqm port site. This is going to be another huge investment made by the Adani Group in the port sector. It will lead the conglomerate towards further prosperity. The new acquisition will also help the Adani Group recover from the losses that it incurred when the Adani investigation was ongoing.

The Prospect of Adani’s Investment in Duqm Port Saleh Hamood Al Hasani, who is the advisor to the Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones in Oman, highlighted that the Oman government is highly welcoming the investments to be made by the Adani Group towards the development of Oman, particularly in the port sector. The Omani government has been largely driven towards the Adani Group’s prior expertise in the port segment, which is why it has already been in talks with some of the officials from the Adani Group regarding the prospect of the investment.
