Introduction of Subject • Why Business Studies is taught in school • How the subject will benefit students after they leave school: • Acquire the knowledge to run your own business. • Business Studies can lead to a wide range of careers. • Business affects everyone, learn how it will affect you • It’s about real life and what’s happening in the world around you.

  3. Outline of Year • Chapter Headings to be studied during First Year:

  4. Equipment Needed • Students must take responsibility to bring the following equipment to class:  Text Book – Eurobusiness 3rd Edition  Notes Copy – A4 Hardback  Homework copy  Vocab copy

  5. CLASS RULES The following basic rules must be observed during class time: • Be on TIME for class: If you are late, bring a note from the last teacher. • Bring all EQUIPMENT to class: If you do not bring all your materials, you will receive a note in your diary.

  6. Class Rules Continued • Talking OUT OF TURN is not allowed in class. • When completing classwork, students are not to PREVENT other students from learning. • If you missed class because of an extra curricular activity it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to catch up on notes and homework must be completed.

  7. Homework • Students are required to complete homework to ensure they have understood classwork and to PREPARE for their assessment tests. • If you have not completed your homework, you will be given a note in your diary and it is expected you will catch up on ALL homework
