Temperature variation Run by run for 20, 15 &12 Temperature is high
Esum += (slope*Nominal Temp+offset) / (Slope*RunTemp+offset)*En TNominal = 25C After using Temperature Correction Factor, the result is improved.
Linearity ScECAL Lineartiy Response before Temprature Correction ScECAL Lineartiy Response after Temprature Correction
143 counts/GeV x 20 GeV = 2860 143 counts/GeV x 12 GeV = 1716 143 counts/GeV x 15 GeV= 2145 143 counts/GeV x 8 GeV = 1144 143 counts/GeV x 4 GeV = 572 143 counts/GeV x 2 GeV = 286 4300 counts for 30 GeV 143 counts/GeV 13 GeV ? 10 GeV ? 15 GeV ?
Lower response ScEcal show low response to the energy points 12, 15, 20 GeV. Wtihout these three points the the linearity shows better results.
During Beam test 2009, for 20 GeV the run number 560276 was mention as low response run. The Red histogram is a distribution of 560276 for 20GeV. But here it almost give the same peak value as compare to the normal run numbers as shown in Green histogram. It means, this is not the reason of low response of ScECAL
summary • Checked the Calice Elog for every • Energy point run by run for comments • On low calorimeter response. • But • There is not any clear information. • Question : problem with ScEcal Calorimeter ? • or • problem with Beam Momentum
