11. Raymond’s Run • An allusion is a reference in a literary work to a person, place, or thing in history or another work of literature. Squeaky uses several allusions during the course of the story. Provide two examples of allusions from the story. • Create a plot diagram for the story (include the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution). • Describe the setting and conflict in the story. • What support can you find in the story for a prediction that Gretchen will win the race?
