New Hotel Design & Enhancements Egencia’s new hotel design and enhancements offer greater ease-of-use, creating an enhanced hotel shopping path that delivers increased efficiency through powerful tools and resources, including Google Maps. • Egencia’s new and innovative hotel shopping path provides an improved user experience that is smart by design • Streamlined search results enable Arrangers and Travelers to quickly scan hotel search results and choose the hotel rate that meets both traveler and company needs • Interactive mapping technology, search results, and policy indicators include color-coded map pins to encourage policy-compliant behavior

Enhancements Help Arrangers & Travelers • Travelers and Arrangers can drag the map to dynamically update hotels displayed on the map and in search results • Rules and restrictions have been exposed and the language updated to reduce confusion about ESR (Expedia Special Rates) and EPR (Egencia Preferred Rates) rates • Hotel promptreminds busy Travelers and Arrangers when a trip does not include a hotel, helping them complete travel plans while staying within company policy

Custom Destinations Drop-down Menu Custom Destinations Drop-down Menu For companies where one or more custom hotel destinations are defined, the custom, Company destinations drop down menu will display. • The menu contains an item for every custom destination defined for the current company, sorted alphabetically by custom destination display name, up to 35 custom destinations.
Additional Options Additional Options The Check-in and Check-out date controls have a new location, but their user interface and functionality are the same. The Guests drop-down menu is not shown when more than one traveler is being arranged (Group shopping does not support more than one traveler per room) When the form is initially loaded, the Hotel name, hotel class link is displayed. • When clicked the Hotel name and Hotel class controls are displayed. • Interface and functionality are unchanged.
Improved! Hotel Search Egencia’s Hotel Search has some great improvements: • Reduced search failures for small towns through improved search error handling • Select from a list of cities or retry their search by providing additional address information • The hotel search guides the user to enhanced address based search.
Improved! Sorting Default: City vs. Vicinity Enhanced hotel sorting for address based searches respects both company negotiated and preferred hotel relationships and distance sort criteria, by defaulting to city vs. vicinity view.
The Sort by drop down menu lets the traveler sort the hotel results by the item most important to them. • The “#“ hotels near is the number of hotel results returned from the current search • The “Area” filter is displayed for city, and airport and custom Hotel Destination searches The filter by amenities interface is updated, but the filtering behavior remains unchanged, The site will perform a new search based on the new selections, and will display those hotels that match all of your search filter criteria. The Standard Google controls allow Travelers and Arrangers to zoom, drag, or switch from map to hybrid or terrain view. Search Results Interactive Map Features Map pin indicators provide a visual location of the current hotels included on the search results page. The color of the pins on the map provide additional visibility into the hotel rate type: Green – Company preferred or negotiated rate Gold – Egencia preferred rate Blue – Expedia special rate Grey - GDS only rate
Search Results Interactive Map Features The Interactive Google map pinpoints the search address or landmark with a green arrow, helping speed the process of finding the right hotel in the right location • The green arrow appears for address, landmark and custom destinations searches • Hovering over the green arrow marker will display the search address, landmark or custom destination name
Search Results Interactive Map Features When the traveler drags or zooms the map, the “Update hotels on map” button appears. Clicking on the button kicks off a geo-centered search.
Interactive Map Pane Features • The property information pop-up appears when the pin is clicked • The pop-up allows the Traveler or Arranger to easily preview hotel information based on the map location • Clicking on the “View rates” button dynamically brings the selected hotel to the top of the search results pane and automatically opens the rate display to display hotel rates

Search Results – List Pane Features The Scroll bar allows for ease of use when viewing hotel search results without displacing the map Clicking on Views Rates or Hide Rates expands or contracts the rate display.
Hotel Rate Display Features The Search results will display up to 5 rates for each rate type – Egencia Preferred Rates, Expedia Special Rates, & Published Rates Egencia Preferred Rates include the bird icon
Hotel Rate Display Features The negotiated rate includes the Company name (Hotel Demo) and the handshake icon. The hotel Photos, Features & Amenities, Location links have not changed.

The “No payment required” and “No cancellation fees” have been added for awareness of rate flexibility. Amenities are pointed out, including loyalty points, free breakfast, etc. Hotel Rate Display Features
When a discounted rate is available, the original average rate per night will be shown with strike out pricing. Hotel Policy & Discounted Rates The site now displays negotiated, published and Egencia Preferred Rates (EPRs) and Expedia Special Rates (ESRs) on the search results page rather than the hotel information site Rooms & Rates page.
Hotel Policy & Rules Rate transparency – Rooms & Rates page Terms are clearly visible, and no longer accessed through a link The language has been updated to improve clarity and comprehension of the rules and restrictions For example: Cancellations and changes must be made before 11:00PM local hotel time versus the old message of 12:00AM

Hotel Information The Hotel Information section pops up over the search results enabling quick access to additional hotel information without losing track of where they were in the hotel shopping process, Everything else has stayed the same in the section.
Hotel Cross Sell A hotel booking reminder page has been added to the post booking confirmation flow, pre-trip email and confirmation email when a traveler’s itinerary does not contain a hotel. The hotel recommendations included in the module are within company policy and based on the traveler’s destination. For example: “Need a hotel in San Francisco” displays 3 in policy hotels If the traveler’s destination is not known a generic module appears without specific hotel recommendations. Instead, it provides a Find a Hotel button to search for hotels.
Hotel Terminology Hotel Brand • Marketing brand of the hotel, the specific hotel within a chain • Examples: Westin, Sheraton, Four Points Hotel Chain • A collection of Hotel Brands • Examples: Starwood, Kimpton
Hotel Brand and Hotel Chain Reports Egencia now incorporates hotel brand and hotel chain reporting in selected reports Two new reports: • Total Hotel Spend by Hotel Chain • Total Hotel Spend by Hotel Brand Additions to current reports: Hotel Brand and Chain information will be added to two current reports • Hotel Bookings Detail • Hotel Bookings Summary
