2. Nursery times Session 1- Monday 8.55am- 3.10pm Tuesday 8.55am- 3.10pm Wednesday 8.55am- 11.25am Session 2- Wednesday 12.40pm- 3.10pm Thursday 8.55am- 3.10pm Friday 8.55am- 3.10pm Please note that the door opens 5 minutes before the end of the session.

3. Weather. • We will be thinking about different weather. • What do we need to wear in different weather? Does your child experience different weathers at home?

5. Out and About in Halifax Shibden Park Which places does your child enjoy visiting? How do they change in the different seasons? Ogden Water

6. Farm We will also be thinking about getting out and about on the farm.

7. The Farm • Have you been to the farm? • Can your child name all of the animals that live on the farm? • Do they know what noises they make? • Do they know the names of the baby animals?

8. Traditional Tales • We will be thinking about some traditional tales this term. • Which ones do you remember from your childhood? • Can your child tell you any of these stories?

9. Dates for your diary • 6th January- New children to start Nursery sessions from today. • 6th January- 14th February- Miss McTavish working Nursery. • 20th February- Parents Evening. • 21st February- School closes. • 3rd March- School reopens. • 12th March- Stay and Play (9am and 12.40pm). • 12th March- Sponsored Event. • 11th April- School closes for Easter. • 28th April- School reopens.

10. Don’t Forget: • Your library bags on a Wednesday!! • To read stories each night with your child. • To phone school if your child is unwell. • To ask us if you have any questions!!
