What we will cover: • How to turn on your phone • Different functions of the touch screen • Navigating your phone • How to access and quit apps • Adding contacts • Other brands of smartphones: • Samsung, Galaxy • LG, Android • Microsoft, Microsoft phone
Components of A Smartphone iPhone 6
Power, lock, and volume iPhone 6
Touchscreen gestures Tap Pinch/Spread Swipe
Quitting apps • Double tap the home button • Swipe up to quit app • Press home button again to return to home page • All apps will still be on your phone, but will not be running in the background
Adding contacts • Go to the Contacts app: • Touch the +in the upper right hand corner • Fill out the fields • Touch the Done • That’s it!
