  1. NSN / FGC UPDATE UPON COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE, THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO: PERFORM FGC UPDATE PERFORM REPAIRABLE NIIN UPDATE PERFORM RFI/POH UPDATE PERFORM REPAIRABLE STOCK STATUS INQUIRY

NSN / FGC UPDATE Establish high AWP percentage and critical level quantity for a FGC Establish movement priority designator and DOP UIC Establish an On Hand RFI quantity Inquire on Repairable Stock Summary data Establish or Update High AWP Percentage Establish or Update Critical Level Quantity (this is usually set to 25% of your FAQ depending on command policy)

  4. FGC UPDATE Purpose (1) Update FGC repairable management data used in the control and management of repairable assets. (2) High AWP percentage. (3) Critical level Quantity. System action (1) Updates FGC repairable management data on system. (2) Performs necessary updates in regards to SERNO control processing.

  5. Enter FGC KK## Click on OK

  6. Enter CRLT QTY = 02 This is usually set to 25% of your FAQ Click on Apply

  7. NSN / FGC UPDATE REPAIRABLE NIIN UPDATE

  8. REPAIRABLE NIIN UPDATE Purpose:Update repairable NIIN data currently maintained in the system. (1) SRC Card IND. (2) Pool Code. (3) Security Class. (4) DOP UIC. (5) MPD (This is usually set to either 03 for red stripe, or 06 for blue stripe material. when separating material for shipment this provides a visual identification to make it easier) Reference … NAVSUP P485 VOL III pg 7-11 (Adobe pg 437)

  9. CONTINUED • Long Supply IND. When applicable, indicates that there are sufficient quantities in the supply pipeline to meet the current demand, and that an RFI replacement should be requisitioned rather than repaired locally. • (7) Note Codes (Special Programs, Containers, Etc.) • System Action: Updates repairable NIIN data on the system.

  10. Select Rep NIIN Enter DOP N00189 Enter MPD = 06 Click on Apply Update Successful Click on Close

  12. NSN / FGC UPDATE RFI / POH UPDATE

  13. RFI / POH UPDATE PURPOSE: This is done when establishing an RFI quantitiy for a newly added item. It also is used to make adjustments as necessary. The system normally makes the appropriate adjustments to the RFI and packup on-hand (POH) inventory counters during various supply processes. However, you may need to increase or decrease the RFI or POH quantities manually. The RFI/POH Update option enables you make such changes. System Action: (1) Update RFI quantity data (2) Creates RFI item record(s) (3) Deletes RFI item record(s) WARNING: Unlimited Quantities. TASK Controlled.

  14. Enter NIIN 00 - 222 - 77## Click on OK

  15. Update Qty = 6 Select New RFI Qty Click on Save

  16. Close on Cancel

  18. REPAIRABLE STOCK SUMMARY INQUIRY Purpose: Displays the stock position of a particular NIIN, FGC, CAGE/PN in a RFI status. System Action: (1) Displays summary stock status of repairable component (2) Displays indicative data for FGC
